Matthew Ensenberger portrait, Managing Partner of Joint DigitalMatthew Ensenberger is one of two managing partners for Joint Digital.  He has been working in the instructional design field since 1998.  He co-founded Joint Digital with his wife in 2002.

Matthew is a two-time graduate of Western Illinois University.  He received his Bachelors of Science in Photography/Media in 1997.  While earning his undergraduate degree, Matthew worked for the University's Visual Production Center.  It's during this time that he honed his photography and print visual skills.  After graduation, Matthew spent a year with the Illinois House Republican Press office in Springfield, Illinois.  He was the Staff Photographer for House Republican Minority Leader Lee Daniels.  Matthew returned to Western Illinois University to attend graduate school in the Fall of 1998.

Matthew was the first Teaching Assistant Teacher in the Department of Instructional Technology and Telecommunications.  He designed developed and delivered a 200 level photography course for undergraduate students.  During his two years of graduate school, he also worked for Apple Computer Inc, as an Apple Campus Representative.  This position allowed him to really see the challenges that faculty face when trying to implement technology in any type of classroom.

After graduating with his Master of Science degree in Instructional Technology and Telecommunications, Matthew was employed by Arthur Andersen as an Instructional Design Consultant at their St. Charles, Illinois learning community.  He provided training for members of the Business Process Risk Consulting auditing unit.  He was one of the pioneers to design, develop, and delivery training on Voice Over IP or VOIP technology.  Matthew worked at Arthur Andersen until just before they closed their doors forever.

After leaving Arthur Andersen, Matthew took a position as the Instructional Design Specialist at Harper College in Palatine, Illinois.  He has worked at the Center for Innovative Instruction for just over 8 years.  His responsibilities include working with faculty to design and develop course content for both face-to-face, online, and blended learning courses.  Much of what Matthew does in this position involves distributing content via electronic means.  He is also credited as having designed, developed, and delivered many of the workshops offered by CII.  Matthew teaches a series of Graduate level courses for Harper College Faculty as part of a partnership with Harper College and Aurora University.

Matthew enjoys woodworking, hunting, fishing, and attending all kindes of sporting events.  He is also a self-proclaimed foody.  Matthew loves to spend time with his two children doing anything they want to do.
